  • Matsumoto, Nagano Prefecture, Japan.
Once upon a time, there was a castle called Fukashi Castle in this place.
Although the name has changed now, there is a castle tower that rises beautifully.
Its name is "Matsumoto Castle" and it is designated as a national treasure.
During the Edo period, there were 170 castles in Japan.
However, many castles were lost due to various reasons, such as warfare, the Ordinance for Disposal of Castles, and World War II.
In Japan today, there are only 12 castle towers built before the Edo period, called the 12 existing castle towers.
These 12 castles are all designated as Important Cultural Properties under the Law for the Protection of Cultural Properties, and 5 of them are designated as National Treasures.
Matsumoto Castle is one of the Five National Treasure Castles.
Perhaps the greatest attraction of Matsumoto Castle is the beauty of this castle tower.
Matsumoto Castle is one of the most beautiful castles in Japan.
There are many interesting points about its origin.
Strolling around Matsumoto Castle while imagining history may be one of your pleasures.
    Thanks for watching!
Please, when you travel to Japan, please visit each place with respect.
When I visit your country, I will visit the place with respect.
I hope everyone has a good time.
I hope your trip to Japan will be a fun one!
